You may have caught me silently updating my profile name from @makingmagiceasy to @cookiemagic_nj.
When I started this business over two years ago, I chose the name Making Magic Easy with the idea that I would help families bring magic to a variety of celebrations throughout the year.
I started with elf kits🎄 and decorated sugar cookies 🍪, and had plans to broaden from there (think decor and activity kits for a variety of holidays).
However the sugar cookie part of my business exploded! And while I've kept up with the elf kits over the years, I've mostly focused on expanding within the cookie space to cookie decorating classes and holiday pop-ups.
So it felt like it was time for my business name to reflect that! Enter: Cookie Magic. Keeping the same magical spirit alive ✨, now with a clear focus on cookies!

So I refreshed my popular Summer Camp spreadsheet from last year, and am sharing it here for you all! It's a sortable and filterable database of over 200 local summer camps along with need to know info like hours, ages, prices, weeks offered, and registration timelines.
Many camps have already posted their info for 2026, and you'll see that reflected in the "Updated for 2026" field, but I'll keep checking back and updating the database as more info gets released!

I've amassed soooo many photos of the cookie sets I've created over the past several years, and it was well past time to edit them down and implement a new, easy to search filing naming convention.
It says something about me that this was very satisfying in its own right, but an added bonus was getting to refresh my memory on all the fun cookies I decorated this year 🍪
