My family and I just returned from an incredible adventure in Spain & Portugal. A huge THANK YOU to all my amazing customers who understood when I couldn't take orders the past two weeks! Your support means the world! ❤️
I've heard of so many families planning similar trips, so I wanted to share a few of our favorite, perhaps less-obvious, spots!
☀️ Port de Sóller, Mallorca:
Our first stop (direct from EWR!) and the perfect ease-in to vacation.
Dinner at @laromaguerarestaurant in Sóller on our first night was a perfect intro to Spanish tapas for the girls.
We also took the most fun half-day sailboat charter with Xico from @maksyboats – he even put up the sail for my 5-year-old!
🏰 Granada:
Had our best meal at @restaurantemiradordeaixa with breathtaking Alhambra views. Seriously, make reservations! Many turned away!
⛰️ Ronda:
A delightful surprise! Not always on the top Andalusia list, but we LOVED it. So quaint with rich Moorish influence. Our hike to the Arabic Arch for stunning views of Puente Nuevo was a highlight. Worth the stop!
🧡 Seville:
This was only a one night stop for us, but the girls' breakfast dreams came true at @milkawaysevilla with their "Willy Wonka Pancakes" – totally lived up to the name! 🥞🍫
🇵🇹 Lisbon:
My favorite brunch (and a Tiramisu latte I'm still trying to recreate!) was at @thefolkslisbon. Such a gem!
Portuguese food ended up being a hit-or-miss for us, but we loved our meal at Lebanese spot @citron.lisboa.
✨ Sintra:
This was a fun day trip by train and @quinta.da.regaleira was the absolute highlight. So much to explore and so many turrets to climb! We loved letting the girls wander. The Initiation Well is a must-see!
